Further to our earlier update on the controversial split between the Sport & Entertainment practice areas, the newly formed Who's Who Legal: Telecoms, Media & Entertainment 2022 guide has now gone public.
According to WWL, the guide "identifies the leading practitioners in the international legal market. They are singled out for their leading expertise in a range of areas, including a range of commercial, regulatory and transactional matters, as well as IP, contracts and disputes across the sectors." In 2022, the global guide lists 671 practitioners from 495 firms in 63 jurisdictions across this practice area.
In the United Arab Emirates, only 6 lawyers were identified as recommended specialists in this area :
